How do I scan with AV Booster?

We recommend that when you first install AV Booster for the first time, that you run one full scan of your PC. While this may take some time, this thorough scan is recommended as it will help to index your PC. This will make future scans considerably faster.

To get started with the scan, click on Scan on the Overview tab.

Future scans with AV Booster are completely automated but you may wish to do a manual scan at any time by pressing the Scan tab.

You can choose a Quick scan that scans the most vulnerable areas of your PC. A Full scan will scan all areas of your PC but will take more time to complete. A Custom scan allows you to run selective scans in your PC. This option is only recommended for experienced users who wish to exclude certain files or folder or extensions. For example, you may wish to exclude your collection of music or video files from scanning, to speed up the scan.
